“This is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.” 1 John1:7

We started early this morning, heading out to Askore Mapong Primary School, and Askore Mapong JHS to declare the message to approximately one thousand school children. At the primary school, Shiloh presented the gospel wristband, Stephen gave the chemistry demonstration and Nathaniel gave a message about our miracle-working God, with Emma Jr. interpreting. Afterward, we headed across the schoolyard to speak to the junior high school students, who particularly enjoyed Stephen’s gospel demonstration. What thrill to look out on hundreds of young faces and tell them that God is light and that in Him is no darkness at all.

As we headed home from the school, Daniel noticed a problem with the team van. After having the van assessed, it was decided that the mechanic would come to the house, take the van and fix an oil leak. Kwaku, the mechanic, fixed the van and delivered it back to us in time for afternoon evangelism in the immediate neighbourhood and surrounding two-mile radius of Believers Bible Assembly. Each team had good conversations, and quite a few people were introduced to the Emmaus Bible Courses. One young lady, named Margaret, seemed especially interested, running out of her shop to ask Stephen how she could learn more about the Bible from the Emmaus courses. Please pray specifically for our team as we are encountering many Muslims who are willing to hear the gospel preached to them, and to engage in conversations with team members. Pray especially for the protection and encouragement of Abigail and Irene, two sisters on our team, who are former Muslims, now eager to preach the gospel but who encounter strong opposition and insults from other Ghanaian Muslims.

Tonight the weather held off and we were able to show the movie, “I Can Only Imagine”. Many children came out and several adults also sat to listen and watch. The crowd stayed to hear Caroline give her testimony and Charles preach about forgiveness and salvation. Please pray with us that each of these endeavours will result in the salvation of souls and the building up of Believers Bible Assembly.

Thank you to all who have been praying for and supporting this effort. Click here to go to our Facebook page for more updates, pictures and videos.
