The USA/Canada contingent of our mission team arrived safely in Ghana, and were welcomed warmly in Kumasi by Daniel Webster and some of the young men on the team. The van was loaded with luggage and we made our way to our mission host house. Everyone exchanged friendly greetings, especially Priscilla Webster, and after a short visit and snack everyone found their bedrooms and nestled down for the night.
Today we begin our first day of evangelism, where the team will learn about our plans and various methods of evangelism. We are pleased that Joseph and Heather Frimpong and family will be along to help with the orientation. They will be contributing in various ways to this years’ mission effort, and we are so thankful to partner with them and our sister assembly in Adumasa.
As we begin our mission efforts to preach the gospel to many souls here in Ghana we are praying for the Lord’s leading and spiritual fruitfulness. It would seem that we are living in the last days, and the day of Lord is at hand. Therefore, there is a great need for a concerted effort to win souls for Christ. We pray the Lord will take up our efforts and be glorified in us as we labor together for the furtherance of the gospel.
Thank you to all who have been praying for and supporting this effort. Click here to go to our Facebook page for more updates, pictures and videos.
