Our team started the day off with separate girls and guys devotions. Then we headed out to the location for our kids club to set everything up. Unfortunately, because of estate restrictions, we couldn’t hold the club where we were so we packed up and moved across the street. This is just a reminder about the reason we’re here: to share the gospel with the lost, no matter the circumstances. Despite that road block, we still had a great first day and are looking forward to the days to come. We ask for prayer regarding the upcoming kids clubs, with our attendance and for wisdom on how to deal with whatever comes our way. God’s timing was perfect as he held off the rain until after it was over; then it lashed (poured) rain. He also brought wonderful kids that we got to pour into. After that, we went back for lunch and had a little down time. We then set out for Kilkenny as a group to do some street ministry. We split up and handed out some tracts and had really good conversations with everyone we met. For the evening, half of our team went to the Denhams and the other to the Callanan’s and experienced extreme hospitality.

Later in the evening, the team all played an “authentic” game of hurling which may or may not have resulted in one ball to Philip’s face.

Finally, our day ended off with some jamming at the Callanans. Thank you everyone for your prayers already and we ask that you would also pray for Rob and Philip as they are both sharing at the prayer meeting tomorrow. We are excited to see how God will work tomorrow and are ready for another day!
