“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” Psalm 133:1
Today we visited the village of Abenase on our way to Lake Bosomtwe. Our small teams covered a lot of ground and passed out many tracts. Alfred, Charles and Nico were able to give an impromptu gospel presentation to some students and their teachers who were doing Saturday classes, sharing the gospel through the wristband. One of the great opportunities for the good news about Jesus Christ in Ghana is that the schools are not just open to the gospel presentations, but quite happy to have the students hear them. Pray with us earnestly that these young people would understand that it is simply not good enough to know the right answers about salvation, but they they need to apply the message to their own lives and bow their knees to the Saviour.
After the village evangelism we enjoyed an afternoon of football (soccer) and swimming at Lake Bosomtwe. It was so good to spend time together and get to know each other in a relaxed environment. All of us had a good time and came home tired, but happy.
Thank you to all who have been praying for and supporting this effort. Click here to go to our Facebook page for more updates, pictures and videos.
